INTRODUCTION
Kota Kinabalu Handicraft Center or popularly known as Pasar Filipina
(Filipino Market) among the locals and tourists is one of the must see
place in Kota Kinabalu city. It is situated along Tun Fuad Stephen Street
across Sinsuran Complex.

There are many handicrafts that are sold here. Besides local souvenirs
and handicrafts such as keychains, T-shirts and beautiful carved woods,
there are also handicrafts from other Asian countries. Sarong batiks,
rattan mattresses, Islamic caligraphies, brooches and also pearls can
be found at this place.
Except for Hari Raya Aidilfitri dan Hari Raya Haji, the handicraft center
opens daily from 8.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. To reach this place, you can
either take a taxi ride for RM7 from any part of the city or take a
few minutes walk from the city bus terminal which is just blocks away.
